Topic status automatically displays here - do not remove.
Page number for TOC entry displays in a different font type and size.
When generating a book TOC, it was observed that one particular page number in the TOC displayed differently to the others. Upon investigation it was revealed that this number had a custom character style applied. It was also noted that the previous tab and the following paragraph mark were also custom formatted.
The paragraph mark following the heading in the topic were custom formatted, and the TOC crosslink was carrying the formatting into the TOC and applying it to the text in the TOC entry which followed the heading. The solution was to remove the custom formatting in the source text, then regenerate the TOC.
Page numbers for an imported TOC file do not display right tab aligned as expected.
After importing a TOC file (which displayed fine in its own separate file) into a page, it was observed that the page numbers which should have been right tab aligned, were instead sitting adjacent to their headings.
The tab width property of the TOC file was greater than the text area of the importing page. The solution was to reduce the tab width for the TOC entries in the TOC page, then update the importing file.
